Spring Hydrant Flushing

You may see firefighters in your area flushing fire hydrants during April and May. The Fire Department does this every spring to ensure that all fire hydrants are in proper working order and are clear of debris. You may also notice some water discoloration from your washing machine or faucet. Don't be alarmed, this is expected and will clear if you simply run water for a few moments.
