CPR Classes

The Norwich Township Fire Department offers monthly American Heart Association-sponsored CPR training classes. We currently offer two different classes to meet the needs of the Hilliard community, which are outlined below. These classes are held at the Safety Services Building, 5181 Northwest Parkway, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 and typically held in the Rice Room.

To register for either of these courses, please select the desired option below. Prepayment is required for BLS Provider CPR training classes. When choosing this option, the register link will redirect you to Square™.

BLS Provider CPR Course
This four-hour course is designed to certify or recertify anyone requiring certification, including but not limited to, lifeguards, coaches, daycare workers, personal trainers, healthcare providers, etc. This course covers one and two-person CPR, obstructed airway procedures (choking) for adults, children, and infants, as well as the use of AEDs for adults, children, and infants, and barrier devices (including bag masks) during ventilation. Completion of a written exam and a skills test is required for certification. This certification is valid for two years.

Family and Friends CPR Course
This three-hour course is designed for family members, friends, and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need certification. This course teaches how to perform CPR and relieve of choking in adults, children, and infants. No written exam or skills test is required for completion and no certification cards are issued.
