Paul Lambert - CopyPaul Lambert was appointed Fiscal Officer of Norwich Township in September 2022. A native of Charleston WV, Paul came to Columbus in 1971 to attend The Ohio State University. He married Terry, his high school sweetheart in 1973, and together they raised two daughters in the Hilliard Community, where they have lived for over forty years. 

Paul spent his career with CompuServe Incorporated, retiring as the VP/CTO of its global data networking operation.  He served on the Board of Trustees of the Hilliard Education Foundation, the Steering Committee for the development of the Brown Township Comprehensive Plan, and was a contributor to the development of the Big Darby Accord Master Watershed Plan, also serving as the City of Hilliard's representative on the Big Darby Accord Advisory Panel.

Elected to the Board of Education of Hilliard City Schools in 2010, Paul served three terms, at various times serving as President, Vice-President, and Chair of the Finance and Facilities Committees. 

He has also served on the Board of Directors of various for-profit and not-for-profit entities, including Pinnacle Data Systems, Black Public Media, and The Ohio State Chapter of Triangle Fraternity. Paul currently serves as a Franklin County Election Pollworker and as a Disaster Action Team member for the American Red Cross.

Paul and Terry love to travel and have visited all fifty states and several countries.  On Sundays you can find him playing bass guitar with the Worship Team at Mountview Christian Church.

FISCAL OFFICER DUTIES
Fiscal Officer duties include the management of all accurate records of meeting proceedings of the Township Board of Trustees, managing financial records, accounts, and transactions as well as paying all bills, issuing checks, and payroll. A Fiscal Officer is an independently elected public official with separate duties from the Township Board of Trustees and is elected to a four-year term commencing April 1 after the November election.
