View the Noise Resolution

In 2009, Norwich Township passed a resolution to regulate noise within the unincorporated territory of Norwich Township pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 505.172. The Township Board of Trustees recognizes that certain levels of noise are unavoidable. The intent of this resolution is to prohibit noises that reach a volume, pitch, frequency, or duration that annoys or disturbs the comfort, peace, or health of a person of ordinary sensibilities and not a resident of the property from which the noise or sounds emanates.
